TJ Newman
Bio
"A former flight attendant, T.J. started writing her first novel Falling, during downtime on long flights, jotting scenes on cocktail napkins. Falling, sold in three 7-figure deals: a worldwide publishing deal with Avid Reader/Simon & Schuster; foreign rights in more than 30 countries; and a $1.5 million movie deal with Universal and Working Title. She became an ""overnight"" publishing sensation, with Falling debuting at number two on the New York Times bestseller list and becoming the fastest selling hardcover fiction debt at Simon & Schuster since 2004. The book was named a best book of the year by USA Today, Amazon, Esquire, among many others. T.J. is currently writing the screenplay for Falling's big screen adaptation. In Worst Case Scenario, Newman remains within her expertise writing the story of a pilot who suffers a widow-maker heart attack at 35,000 feet, leading to a commercial airliner colliding with a nuclear power plant. Only the efforts of the residents of a small Midwestern town will prevent the worst-case scenario as they face the ultimate test of their lives."
